1. Service description

JetZip provides free, browser-based ZIP utilities and anonymous peer-to-peer file sharing features. Tools run primarily on your device. Transfer features rely on WebRTC between users’ browsers. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without guarantees of uninterrupted uptime.

2. Acceptable use

You may use JetZip only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for the files you process, share, download, or otherwise handle with the service.

You must not use JetZip to distribute malware, engage in fraud, harass others, violate export controls, or commit any crime. You must not attempt to disrupt JetZip infrastructure, signaling, or other users’ sessions.

3. Disclaimer — copyright and illegal transfers

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: JetZip does not review, moderate, host, or control the contents of files that users unzip, compress, encrypt, split, merge, or transfer peer-to-peer. Because file payloads are processed on-device or sent directly between peers, JetZip has no practical ability to inspect those contents in transit or at rest on JetZip servers.

JetZip is not responsible for, and expressly disclaims liability arising from, any copyright infringement, trademark infringement, trade-secret misappropriation, unauthorized disclosure of confidential information, or other intellectual-property violation committed by users.

JetZip is likewise not responsible for illegal, harmful, or unauthorized file transfers between users. You alone are responsible for ensuring that you have all rights and permissions needed to handle and share materials, and that your use complies with applicable law in your jurisdiction.

If you believe materials shared through a peer link violate your rights, you should contact the other party directly where possible. JetZip cannot retrieve or delete file copies that never resided on JetZip servers.

4. No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JetZip and its operators disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that tools will be error-free, that WebRTC connections will always succeed across every network, or that results will meet your specific requirements.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JetZip and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service—including damages related to third-party ads, cookie technologies, network failures, or peer behavior.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid JetZip for the service in the prior three months (typically zero for free use) or (b) fifty US dollars (USD $50).

6. Third-party services and advertising

Pages may include Google AdSense or similar advertising. Your interactions with ads and advertisers are governed by those parties’ terms and policies. JetZip is not responsible for third-party landing pages, offers, or tracking technologies beyond what is described in our Privacy and Cookie policies.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
