Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how jetzip.net and our advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website or third party. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and advertising identifiers. They help sites remember preferences, measure traffic, and deliver ads.

2. How JetZip uses cookies

JetZip itself is built to process files in your browser without uploading them to our servers. Core ZIP features do not require advertising cookies to function.

When advertising is enabled, Google AdSense and related Google services (including DoubleClick) may set or read cookies to: select and serve ads; measure ad performance; limit how often you see an ad; detect and prevent invalid traffic; and, where permitted, personalize ads based on your activity across sites that participate in Google’s advertising network.

3. Advertising and analytics cookies

Advertising cookies may collect or be associated with data such as browser type, device type, IP address, approximate geography, pages viewed on JetZip, and whether you interacted with an ad. Analytics cookies or scripts—if used—help us understand aggregate usage (for example, which tools are popular) without needing access to your file contents.

These technologies are typically provided by third parties. JetZip does not use advertising cookies to read the binary contents of files you process locally or transfer via WebRTC.

4. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. You can also visit Google Ads Settings to control ad personalization associated with your Google Account, and use industry tools such as the Network Advertising Initiative or Your Online Choices (where available in your region).

If you block all cookies, some preference or advertising features may not work as intended, but local ZIP processing should remain available. Peer-to-peer transfer still depends on browser WebRTC capabilities and network conditions—not on AdSense cookies.

5. Updates and contact

We may update this Cookie Policy when our advertising or analytics stack changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision.

Questions: see the Contact page or read the Privacy Policy for a broader view of data practices.
